You don't need to bring users to the VIP day. If you have talked to them already, that would be perfect. If not, we will prepare an interview questionnaire with you.

If you don't have access to your end users, sometimes that's really a very critical point and showstopper for your project. We've had this experience ourselves in various projects. Sometimes there are ways to ask other people with appropriate domain knowledge as a substitute. The best thing in this case is to send us a short description of your situation and we will find out together what to do.

Sure, if you are already familiar with the Data Question Map this will speed up the process.

But don't worry if you haven't yet. In the past, we have done this VIP day with clients that were new to this technique, and it worked quite well and led to awesome results.

It can be either just you, or you bring more colleagues. It's great to have someone who knows a bit about the users, plus someone who knows the data.

UX design skills are not needed. Everyone can learn to take the user centric perspective.
